BaselWorld. 100 Years-  Watch and jewelry International Trade Show.

Since 1917 every year during the month of March, BaselWorld takes place in the City of Basel, Switzerland during eight days. This year it is from 23th to 30 of March 2017.

The 100th  Anniversary Edition of the one unmissable trendsetting show BaselWorld that unites key players from all sectors of the global watch industry and sets the ton for the coming year.

What exemplifies BaselWorld is its unique ability to group the biggest and most prestigious watch and jewelry brands in the world, emerging design talent, the finest retailers and the global press. Over and above that, Baselworld has firmly established its role as the most important platform that showcases those innovations, creations and brand new collections that set the trend and determine what will be worn and most talked about in the coming year.

” For the last 100 years, watchmakers and jewelers, have been presenting their creations to visitors of Switzerland and the world in the hart of Basel,” said Ms. Ritter, Managing Director BaselWorld; this special Edition will celebrate a century of Basel World being an essential date in the industry´s calendar. Each new edition is eagerly anticipated, often with great impatience.

Two new concepts have been unveiled: Les Ateliers, the new space  for independent watchmakers, previously in the palace, and the Design Lab, this space is dedicated to designers, mainly in jewelry, featuring unique, innovative pieces and avant-garde creations.

BaselWorld, has become one of the largest and most important Watch and Jewellery International trade show in the world and year by year lives up to its reputation as the launching pad for global trends.
