There are many ways to enjoy life. In Time to Enjoy, two of them come together in a delicious way: Michelin-starred cuisine and haute horlogerie. These two have more in common than you might think at first glance. After all, both are the result of passion, creativity and craftsmanship. In addition, the concept of time is just as essential in a Michelin-starred restaurant as it is for a watch. In the kitchen, the timing of some preparations is down to the second. At the table, on the other hand, you want time to stand still; culinary enjoyment is the perfect moment to take your eyes off the clock.
In Time to Enjoy, haute horlogerie and haute cuisine come together at the table. Twenty-five chefs with one or more Michelin stars share a recipe and link it to a watch (and sometimes a piece of jewelry) that has a clear connection to their profession or way of working. Whether it’s color, design, refinement, depth or something else, the chefs’ creativity leads to amazing combinations. And the great thing is: they also share their recipes.

Time to Enjoy is a publication marking the 25th anniversary of Reijersen Juweliers, the “jeweler gastronome” in Oudewater, The Netherlands. The concept was devised by publisher Harry Wijnschenk, also known as the publisher/editor-in-chief of the magazine 0024Horloges. The texts were written by Sandor van Es, who managed to combine restaurants, dishes, watches and jewelry into an appealing composition.
Time to Enjoy is available in various ways. The book is available in limited edition through Reijersen Jewelers. It can also be found at several Michelin-starred restaurants that collaborated on the book and were kind enough to give readers a glimpse into their kitchens.
