International variety meets new impulses
In Halls 5 and 7 ProSpirits will bring together around 500 exhibitors from 50 countries thereby offering a condensed trip around the international world of spirits. The spectrum ranges from tropically aged whisk(e)ys to progressive gin styles to Chinese Baijiu.
For the first time, no & low alcohol spirits will also find a new stage at the ProWein Zero Tasting Bar. This Bar showcases how low & no is viewed today – modern, sensorially sophisticated, and with a degree of innovation that is repositioning the category.
Trend tours provide in-depth guidance
A key to targeted orientation in this growing offering are the curated Trend Tours guided by spirits expert Jürgen Deibel. Twice a day he will guide visitors through the ProSpirits halls putting current market developments, styles and producers into context. “The guided spirits tours at ProSpirits 2026 are a key tool for targeted knowledge transfer and networking,” explains Deibel and adds: “They make for structured orientation, promote direct exchange with producers and make a crucial contribution to the professionalisation of the trade audience as well as to sustainable appreciation of craft spirits.”

“The Spirits Business” addresses global business issues on stage
Another highlight of ProSpirits will be the education programme curated by The Spirits Business on the dedicated area of Hall 7. Leading figures from the international spirits industry will discuss the sector’s key challenges and opportunities here – from market and consumer trends to technology to on-trade trends as well as distribution and retail.
The panels will be facilitated by Melita Kiely, editor-in-chief of The Spirits Business. Speakers include Prof. Dr. Simone Loose, author of the ProWein Business Report & ProSpirits Report, Ian Somerhalder (Brother’s Bond) as well as representatives of renowned brands such as Choya Umeshu, San Cosme Mezcal, Origen X, Thomas Henry and MG Distillery.
“We were thrilled to present The Spirits Business Hub at ProSpirits 2025 for the first time – and are delighted to return with its second edition in 2026,” says Melita Kiely. Alongside panel discussions and talks the programme includes spirits tastings, cocktail Masterclasses and a high-calibre bar presence. “We’re not shying away from important topics impacting the industry – from Gen-Z consumption habits to geopolitical challenges to the question of what bartenders really expect from brands.”
Must-go event for bar professionals and spirits merchants
With its international focus, valuable knowledge formats and strongly immersive quality ProSpirits 2026 will become the pivotal point of contact for bartending staff, mixologists as well as retailers. Be it new products, fresh ideas for bar menus or direct exchange with producing companies and industry experts – ProSpirits creates space for inspiration, networking and concrete business opportunities at ProWein 2026.
Testimonials for the ProSpirits Report 2026
An industry-wide survey is currently underway within the spirits sector for the ProSpirits Business Report 2026. The aim is to capture informed assessments of market trends, challenges and perspectives of the future and to compile them in a comprehensive industry report. This survey targets representatives from industry, distribution, retail and food service, whose assessments form the content of the ProSpirits Report. The Report is considered the central mood and trend barometer of this industry.
Boasting two fully occupied halls, ProSpirits at ProWein Düsseldorf 2026 will be as big, international and versatile as ever. From 15 to 17 March the spirits segment will become a vibrant meeting point for the global industry – with huge product variety and a programme that not only flags up but puts trends into context.
