artmonte-carlo is a new art exhibition on the marvelous Côte d´Azur. An Artistic Platform for Contemporary art, Modern art and Contemporary design which main purpose is to pay homage to the requirements of regional and international Collectors and Art Lovers.


Following the success of its first edition, the 2nd Edition of artmonte-carlo will take place at the prestigious Grimaldi Forum, Monaco, from 29th to 30th April 2017. It will be hosting 37 Contemporary and modern art Galleries, fourteen invited exhibitions and four curated shows.

artmonte-carlo show cases a specialized and select collection of works from leading international Galleries. The fair is enhanced by a non commercial exhibition program of  the highest level.

artmontecarlo 2017 gives design a unique presence: “Objects my friends” and  its curator Martin Bedin invites 15 world renowned Design Galleries to present their most prominent Artists.

Objects my friends is an exhibition of furniture and objects made with care, boldly, escaping from fashion and market laws, and loaded with great poetry. Great furniture that will watch over us, almost against the light in front of the sea, strange “Silhouettes”. Funny furniture as well, offbeat, undisciplined. Enigmatic mirrors and photos from where the objects live, in the intimacy of Monegasque interiors, enigmatic images as well.  M.B.

This exhibition will be displayed on the very great place “Le Genois” on the first floor of the Grimaldi Forum, overlooking the sea.

Contemporary Art on a Boat. A special section of artmonte-carlo; this year, New York and Berlin Based curator Mohammad Salemy will propose, this is the Sea, a group show with fifteen international artist on a private Yacht at Port Hercule, Monaco.

 M 50, a giant bubble by Hans-Walther Müller, will be exhibited at the Grimaldi Forum´s esplanade.

Taking place in small and refine locations artmontecarlo reflects its environment, pleasant and with international reputation.


artmonte-carlo is organized by Palexpo SA, under the High Patronage of  H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco and the leadership of Thomas Hug.
