The 2025 edition of Paris Gallery Weekend takes place on May 23, 24 and 25, 2025, on the initiative of the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art (CPGA), and this year brings together 77 galleries from the Paris region. For over 10 years, this festive event has been celebrating modern and contemporary art over a weekend of strolls through the various art districts of the Paris region.
New this year, the “Zooms” offer visitors thematic selections of exhibitions from participating galleries. Whether to discover photography, modern art, the emerging scene or drawing, each particular selection offers a unique immersion in current trends in art. Generating public enthusiasm every year, guided or commented tours open to all and organized by the CPGA or with its institutional partners, will once again be offered in the various districts.

The Concept
Paris Gallery Weekend is a free event open to all. For three days, galleries and gallery owners welcome the public to discover art in all its forms. A veritable open-air fair, the event transforms Paris into an immense exhibition space, where you can wander freely from gallery to gallery, district to district. Audiences of all ages, art lovers, collectors and the simply curious are invited to follow the various recommended itineraries of this 2025 edition using the communication media made available by the CPGA: local map, interactive website, social networks…
The top picks of 2025 ambassadors, personalities from the world of art and culture, which are shared with the public, notably on Paris Gallery Weekend’s social networks, also provide a personal perspective on the rich program offered by the galleries, but also on the importance of the gallerist’s profession in promoting both contemporary creation and modern art.
The Board is also renewing the Carte blanche program launched last year to mark the 10th anniversary of Paris Gallery Weekend. This initiative gives galleries the opportunity to invite the personality of their choice to take part in the curation process of their exhibition or a related event.
Geographical Paths
This year, the geographical itineraries are spread across the various emblematic art districts of Paris and Greater Paris: several itineraries will be offered in the Marais, in the North-East, you can stroll from Belleville to Romainville, organize your stroll in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district, or even in Matignon. This wide geographical spread also enables visitors to select the routes closest to their homes, or to discover new art districts in the Paris region.
New in 2025: The “Zooms”
Among the program of the 77 galleries joining forces for this year’s event, visitors will be able to select exhibitions according to certain themes: through the “Zooms”, they can choose to discover exhibitions dedicated to photography or drawing, for example, or focus on exhibitions by women artists, or on modern art, the emerging scene, and more.

Carte Blanche
Following on from the success of last year’s program, Cartes Blanches will be featured again this year. Some galleries are giving carte blanche to a guest of their choice for a new and original program. The guest may be an artist, a professional from the world of art or culture, a museum curator, an exhibition commissioner (etc.).
Ambassadors
As every year, Paris Gallery Weekend will be enriched by the active involvement of its ambassadors, personalities from the art world (critics, institutions, collectors, journalists) invited to share their views and expertise within personal selections likely to arouse curiosity and interest, or their links and history with art galleries. In the next few days, find out where Fanny Robin, Chris Cyrille-Isaac, Anaël Pigeat, Audrey Guttman, Daria De Beauvais, Alexia Guggemos, Aurélie Deplus and Hugo Spini will be taking you this year.
Events Calendar
In each gallery, vernissages or dedicated programming (performances, lunches and cocktails, discussions, signings, etc.) provide an opportunity to learn, question, debate and deepen knowledge, before acquiring a work of art.
For the 2025 edition, a number of vernissages are planned, as well as meetings with exhibiting artists and curators, workshops, lectures and debates; and events for younger visitors. Participating galleries will be indicated on the map, which can be consulted on the dedicated website or, in its printed version made available at galleries, partner institutions…
