A New Alliance to showcase Tuscany’s food culture (and beyond)
From the region’s symbolic wine to gourmet schiacciata: a joint project to bring Tuscan flavors into Tosca stores and local events.
Tosca Eccellenze Toscane and Consorzio Vino Chianti announce a partnership designed to create dialogue between wine and gastronomy, and to tell the story of Tuscany through its iconic products.
The collaboration will bring Chianti DOCG into Tosca retail locations and events across the territory, with initiatives dedicated to tastings, pairings, and integrated promotion.
The agreement includes the distribution of Consortium labels in Tosca stores, guided tastings led by sommeliers, and participation in the launch events of new stores, starting with those in Florence (Via Canto dei Nelli) and Genoa (Waterfront).
“We are proud of this new chapter in our strategy to enhance Tuscan excellence,” said Pietro Nicastro, founder of Tosca. “Chianti wine represents not only an iconic product, but also a story of tradition, territory, and passion that we want to bring ever closer to our customers.”
“Chianti is more than a wine. It is a story made of people, work, and culture,” emphasized Giovanni Busi, president of Consorzio Vino Chianti. “With Tosca we have found a channel that allows us to share this story in a direct and authentic way with those who love our products and truly want to get to know our land.”
Tosca, created to promote the region’s authentic flavors and already a partner of Consortia such as Finocchiona PGI, Mortadella di Prato PGI, Prosciutto Toscano PDO, Pecorino Toscano PDO, and Tuscan PGI Olive Oil, is now expanding its project to include the world of wine.
Founded in 1927 as one of the first Italian wine producers’ associations, Consorzio Vino Chianti today brings together about 2,500 wineries spread across approximately 17,000 hectares of vineyards and six provinces: Florence, Siena, Arezzo, Pisa, Pistoia, and Prato.
