Monies raised from the auction goes to The Gérard Basset Foundation to fund educational and professional programmes in the wine, spirits and hospitality sectorsfocused upon improving diversity and inclusivity, helping people from a wide range of historically marginalised communities to thrive and succeed in their chosen profession. The Foundation funds programmes in over 15 countries globally, in addition to its ground-breaking scholarship programmes co-sponsored by Taylor’s Port, Dom Pérignon, Artemis Domaines, Camus, The Brooklyn Nets & New York Liberty Foundation, Michel Reybier Hospitality, and Wine Owners.
